How it's done in Hamburg

Many states have a 3 foot passing a bike law. Is it enforced or just an add on if a cyclist gets hit?

Germany, and probably the EU, have a 1.5 meter minimum passing law. About 5 feet (4.91...)
The Hamburg police are setting up a sting operation.
Perhaps the word will get out faster when a few drivers get ticketed.

Sorry its on the former twiter feed.

I've always treated 'em like they own the whole lane. I've had a few crowd over to the shoulder and wave me around, but even then I give them as much room as I can and go by slowly.

Wobbles can happen. Things can break.
