The game is totally free all the way up to level cap, and the only limitations are that there are storage slots, alternate souls, and lots of cosmetic things you can pay real money for. There is also a reasonable monthly subscription if you so choose.

But this game world is enormous, and there are enough collectibles, rare named mobs, quests and constant events running that boredom is pretty much impossible!

My wife and I play on the Wolfsbane server, and have been with the game since launch. However, computer troubles and my health saga make it very hard for she and I to play together, so I give most of the time to my wife out of love.
