We are witnessing what could be the most improbable story in the history of mankind.

Is anyone still following the EPL?

In just their second season after promotion, Leicester City sits 5 points atop the table with 13 games to play.

And in other news, my Gunners have turned a golden opportunity into another 4th place finish.

Worth remembering that Jamie Vardy was playing for this lot not that long ago at all

http://www.stocksbridgeps.com/

Adrian Butchart, the award-winning screenwriter, has held talks with Jamie Vardy’s agent over the prospect of a film about the Leicester City striker’s remarkable rise.

Vardy made history on Saturday by scoring in his 11th consecutive Premier League game, four years after he was playing in non-league for Fleetwood Town.

The 28-year-old’s fairytale journey has also seen him elevated to Roy Hodgson’s England senior team and Butchart believes there is potential to turn Vardy’s story into a movie.

Everybody's talking about it. How did this lot wind up at the top of the table? Most of the people I know, including me, tipped them to go down. And yet there they are at the top. It's incredible.

Spurs in second, who would have believed it?

Fellow gooner here, who fears we might not get to celebrate St. Totteringham Day this year....

....as both Spurs and Arsenal lost midweek.

And right on cue, I stumbled across this today!

http://www.thedailymash.co.uk/sport/sport-headlines/nobody-sure-who-invited-west-brom-to-superleague-talks-20160305106878

EUROPEAN football’s superpowers were surprised to find West Brom at their secret ‘super league’ meeting.

Officials from Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United attended the high-powered talks alongside West Brom chairman Jeremy Peace who was clutching a lukewarm pint of Foster’s.

Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward said: “We were all saying how nice it was to get away from the riffraff, the Norwich Citys of this world, so it was a jolt to see Jeremy there in his Marks & Spencer suit. Arsenal CEO Ivan Gazidis and I exchanged stories about what it’s like running a global superpower only for Peace to drown us out with a story about how he managed to get some knock-off kits from a market stall in Birmingham.

Peace said: “I’ve volunteered to host the next meeting at the All Bar One in New Street Station.”

It seems like Leicester City will bring the trophy to their home this season. Their effective and consistency of playing makes me sure about this.

Not only are they on top of the EPL, but they had a royal funeral with Richard III this year! A never-to-be-forgotten year for them, that's for sure.

Many people have made the connection. In all the years that Richard III was buried beneath the car park in Leicester, the Foxes never came close to any sort of success but the minute he was dug up they shot to the top of the table.

I'm sceptical. After all, they never won any titles before Richard III died, did they? I think this is a case of a beautiful theory being ruined by an ugly fact.

Can they dig up some royal bones near White Hart Lane? (Though Spurs are having a great year; not complaining, really).

the old rule was that if you wanted to see a team winning Trophies in Leicester then you followed Leicester Tigers in Rugby Union. They are the rugby equivalent of Man U.
