VIDEO: Pope drops the F-bomb in front of thousands in weekly Vatican address

It was not exactly holy language as Pope Francis made his weekly Vatican address and accidently dropped the F-bomb.

The pontiff used the four-lettered word in front of thousands as he stumbled over the Italian word for 'example' - "caso."

But instead out popped "cazzo" -- which means " F***."

"cazzo" is an impolite word for "penis".

And the difference between "caso" and "cazzo" is one of empahsis. "Caso" is pronounced "kah-zoe", whereas "cazzo" would be pronounced "kaht-zoe"

If he was saying "In this example..." It would be (if memory serves) "In questo caso...", so he could have made a mistake, slip of the tongue, or simply mangle the word as we sometimes do.

In the context of the sentence if he did make a mistake, it would have been "In this dick...", not "In this fuck..."

"Che cazzo!" is translated literally as "What dick!", idiomatically into English as "What the fuck!"

I defer to any native Italian speakers on this, my Italian was of the Swiss variety (I lived in Locarno).

but I think he was pointing out that the story was in The Mirror, not The Telegraph, and BOTH are highly unreliable in any language.

the same day that Rug is transported to heaven by the Great Tractor Beam In the Sky as part of the End Times.

Yes I replaced "mirror" with "telegraph" as generically awful UK papers.
