http://ieet.org/index.php/IEET/more/maserekasolomon2150520As religion dies in the western countries, it is busy in Africa, along with poverty and human rights abuses.
For the young generation in Uganda, all they get is the constant demand to live a godly life, both at home and at school. Parents teach their children how to pray in times of trouble, instead of thinking and discussing solutions to problems based on science and logic. African youth who try to use their minds well are hindered by inadequate resources, hatred, superstition, and religious-obsessed communities.
...
Religion should be attacked in Africa. Churches are emerging in every corner of Ugandas settlement areas and pastors and other religious leaders are milking the ignorant innocent citizens. There are endless promises of the good life in Heaven and unexplained miracles are common.
...
Why do we still have these worship places around us? Why do we call unto gods if they cannot respond to even to the smallest call of a crying child? They are all useless. Africans should ask why gods are not responding to their queries.

Or better yet attempt an irrelevant diversion away from the horrendous and successful efforts by us religious leaders to promote criminalization of homosexuality in africa.
