I saw this earlier on free republic. Because of their names, they assumed they were Muslim and fell over themselves blaming Islam for their murderous religion. They accused the father for killing his wife because she bore him a gay son.

But totally not because his religion taught him to hate gay people.

... The Los Angeles County District Attorney has charged the father with killing his son in a hate crime because the son was gay. The father has not yet been charged in the killing of the wife. Prosecutors say for the hate crime charge they need only to show that sexual orientation was a factor, not the only factor.

In the statement released Wednesday, family members said their mother had defended them from domestic abuse and they were confident their slain brother would not have harmed her ...
