Jill Stein Asks Atheists For Their Vote

The Green Party candidate courts atheists via Twitter.

Dr. Jill Stein, the Green Party’s candidate for president in 2016, is seeking the atheist vote.
Earlier today, Stein responded to a tweet from American Atheists President David Silverman asking if she would openly seek the support of atheists.

Silverman tweeted:

@DrJillStein, do you want the #AtheistVoter? Will you ask for it?

Stein responded that she would seek the atheist vote:

I ask for the votes of everyone in America who upholds people planet and peace over profit – including atheists.

Just a turn of phrase. I'm an atheist (and a Canadian). She can't have my vote anyway.

... so she won't get my vote by only appealing to the atheists!

I'm kidding about the atheist appeal, but I can't vote for her anyway. I wouldn't even vote for Elizabeth Warren, who I like a lot, if I thought she had no chance as a fringe party candidate and a vote for her would be like a vote for Trump.
