Will atheist Rev. Gretta Vosper obtain 'no-fault' divorce from church?
Some speculate Rev. Gretta Vosper's choice to lead a largely atheist organization could trigger a United Church clause that allows her to avoid a "disciplinary" hearing and simply go on a "discontinued" clergy list.

Atheist Rev. Gretta Vosper has joined the board of a non-religious organization called Oasis, which provides a home for atheists, agnostics and others.
Could this provide the combative clergywoman with a face-saving exit from the United Church of Canada, where a key committee declared last year she is not suitable to continue in ordained ministry because she does not believe in God, Jesus Christ or the Holy Spirit.
The church sub-executive acknowledges the high-profile case of Vosper who is championed often by journalists in the secular media, especially in Toronto has caused division and vitriol on many fronts.
United Church Rev. David Shearman is now among those speculating that Vospers decision to become a Canadian leader of Oasis could trigger a denominational clause that allows her to avoid another disciplinary hearing and simply go on a clergy discontinued list.
