None. One of the more clear directives from Jesus.

You routinely post crap about what you claim you've seen DUers do. When are you going to prove it?

but I've seen all types of public prayer on here. I think I remember a group (or forum--still not clear on the difference) just for prayer as I was clicking through things. Certainly those that are openly calling for prayer and discussion their prayer are going against this verse.

Not whether there is a Prayer group.

If you buy a star you can search to see if that claim is true or not. He never has.

Let me know if you find anything.

Misconstrued.

It says not to pray in public in order to be seen. The word public is a bit odd, but there.

You could go to the Temple. Have many tzitzit. Phylactery. Pray like duly with much weeping. To be seen. Intent matters.

Public public prayer was standard then. It was in the Temple. It was in what synagogue s existed. Jesus in the gospels prays to give thanks, to ask God's intercession, to bless.

It's the same with charity. Yet giving to the Temple, 2nd tithe or freewill offering, was public. Yet condemnation would have met somebody shouting, "Look how much I'm giving," and praise for quietly giving a large sum.

For many Americans, other's intent is meaningless, their interpretation and judgment is all that matters.

He was trying for the Christopher Hitchens award for sustained ignorance. He lost, narrowly, to Ann Coulter.
