J. special report: Anti-Semitism at Bay Area schools shows dramatic spike

From the article:

"Schools appear to reflect the national tension; reports of anti-Semitic vandalism and bullying at nondenominational K-12 schools in California have doubled since November compared with the same period the previous year, according to Anti-Defamation League data — a phenomenon that some attribute to the heated tenor of the 2016 presidential campaign."

I'm not too surprised, children are impressionable, and the white nationalist movement is strong right now.

There are pockets out here that are very white, and very christian, and that mix leads to white nationalism. It's usually towards the central valley, but gentrification has shoved a bunch of that into the core of the big cities.

without a comparison it's less meaningful as it creates an artificial situation where it seems like SF has an inordinate increase in anti-semitic activity. Knowing how this compares with other places gives data, this is just an observation.
