Related: About this forumNotre Dame student fears losing birth control coverage under university health plan
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/notre-dame-birth-control-mandate-rollback-student-speaks-out/...Last week, the administration said it's changing the Obamacare requirement that health plans cover contraception. It wants to exempt any non-government employer with a "religious or moral objection."
Because of the Catholic Church's strict stance against contraception, Notre Dame University has fought the birth control mandate for years, reports CBS News' Adriana Diaz.
Although the university hasn't yet decided to withdraw coverage completely, some women on this campus are worried they're about to lose an important part of their health care.
"I respect my university's adherence to Catholicism but I also think that no woman should have to choose between her serious medical needs and her university's religion," said Notre Dame law student Kate Rochat.

I admire and respect Kate for speaking out and fighting for her rights, but I'm afraid that modern Catholicism has chosen forced birth as one of its anchors. It cannot make an exception for women's medical needs - it's a religious "truth" to them and no compromise is possible.

Generally, the necessity for birth control requires two heterosexual participants.
