Why is God male?

Does he have a penis?
Always "He", the :"Father".
Isn't God an incorporeal being that is not made of matter or part of the physical Universe.
Isn't God a being that has always existed, long before the sexes evolved in species?
Why is God a HE?

Everything, even inanimate objects, are either he or she. So which one does a patriarchal iron age religion pick?

4. In ancient times God was Female: 'When God Was a Woman'

When God Was a Woman is the U.S. title of a 1976 book by sculptor and art historian Merlin Stone. It was published earlier in the United Kingdom as The Paradise Papers: The Suppression of Women's Rites. It has been translated into French as Quand Dieu était femme (SCE-Services Complets d'Edition, Québec, Canada) in 1978, into Dutch as Eens was God als Vrouw belichaamd – De onderdrukking van de riten van de vrouw in 1979, into German as Als Gott eine Frau war in 1989 and into Italian as Quando Dio era una donna in 2011.

Stone spent approximately ten years engaged in research of the lesser-known, sometimes hidden depictions of the Sacred Feminine, from European and Middle Eastern societies, in preparation to complete this work. In the book, she describes these archetypal reflections of women as leaders, sacred entities and benevolent matriarchs, and also weaves them into a larger picture of how our modern societies grew to the present imbalanced state. Possibly the most controversial/debated claim in the book is Stones' interpretation of how peaceful, benevolent matriarchal society and Goddess-reverent traditions (including Ancient Egypt) were attacked, undermined and ultimately destroyed almost completely, by the ancient tribes including Hebrews and later the early Christians. To do this they attempted to destroy any visible symbol of the sacred feminine, including artwork, sculpture, weavings and literature. The reason being that they wanted the Sacred Masculine to become the dominant power, and rule over women and Goddess energies. According to Stone, the Torah or Old Testament was in many ways a male attempt to re-write the story of human society, changing feminine symbolism to masculine.

And even in Judeo-Christian tradition there’s room for a less anthropomorphic image of God. But many early religions worshipped the Goddess in the form of Mother Earth. And many religions have Pantheons of Gods and Goddesses or a image of the divine that is not bound by silly things like Gender.

You won't let anyone else do it, so neither can you. "Faith" doesn't give you a get-out-of-jail pass, either. Hold yourself to the same standards you hold others, please.

In your zeal to be inclusive, you are missing the opinion of organized religion altogether. Your Creator is not the creator of most religious belief. It is, instead, your attempt to strip the deity of all specificity.

"The Creator is everything in the universe." That is not a religious belief at all. It is simply throwing your hands up and accepting that there is no such entity. It is not a theistic point of view. Rather, it is a trick of the mind to avoid atheism.

Mean it's God right? God is just a spiritual entity, or so they say. I believe in multiple entities. All which could be both male or female.

When Israel was conquered by Babylon, the Jews blamed themselves: They had not worshipped Jehovah enough.

The result was a reformation:
- The babylonian exile was the first time that the Jews put their religion ínto writing.
- They denounced worship of Asherah and made it clear that only Jehovah should be worshipped from now on.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asherah#In_Israel_and_Judah

(Jehovah isn't specifically mentioned as a god of war, however he bears all attributes of a god of war, such as his bad temper and commanding the Israelites to wage war.)
