From the article:

(13,200 posts)Franklin broke with Trump. He didnt. He in fact parroted both gop talking points- that the law must be obeyed and that this is not Trumps fault, it started long ago.
And both ends of Pennsylvania Avenue are the problem. The headline exonerates Trump.

(42,641 posts)From the article:
For one thing, the Trump administration is matching its nativist, anti-immigrant rhetoric with ever crueler policies. In April, Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced his intention to remove sexual assault as a legal justification for seeking asylum.
Last month, in an effort to deter illegal border crossings, the government announced it would enforce a rule, waived by previous administrations, that mandates detained parents and children be separated.
So how exactly does this exonerate Trump?

(13,200 posts)Obviously you missed that part of what I wrote.
What I wrote was the headline exonerates Trump. Probably you missed where I wrote the headline exonerates Trump. Or maybe you missed the headline of your op, the headline that says
Pleas for border justice are aimed at the wrong end of Pennsylvania Avenue and then goes on to talk about congress.
