Kansas Pastor Wants Gov't to Kill All The Gays

http://www.addictinginfo.org/2012/05/29/kansas-pastor/

Pastor Curtis Knapp of New Hope Baptist Church in Seneca, Kansas thinks the best method of letting tax-paying, law-abiding citizens live their lives is by killing them:

“They should be put to death. That’s what happened in Israel. That’s why homosexuality wouldn’t have grown in Israel. It tends to limit conversions. It tends to limit people coming out of the closet. — ‘Oh, so you’re saying we should go out and start killing them, no?’ — I’m saying the government should. They won’t but they should. [You say], ‘oh, I can’t believe you you’re horrible. You’re a backwards neanderthal of a person.’ Is that what you’re calling scripture? Is God a neanderthal backwards.. in his morality. Is it his word or not? If it’s his word, he commanded it. It’s his idea, not mine. And I’m not ashamed of it.” (Source: TowlerRoad.com)

I suspect Neanderthals were more evolved than the Republican Fundamentalist Christo Fascist sub species who make such deranged statements.

No one on this board would be intellectually bankrupt enough to claim that atheism can be every bit as oppressive, potentially harmful, and as extremist as any group of religious extremists, in the face of something like this. Would they?

Organized atheism is just dying to oppress those poor, persecuted Xstians to death every day. Everyone knows this.

We have no right to criticize him - we could be wrong, and he could be right.

There's an area on the web page for Comments back to the dear pastor.

A place for each and every one of us to tell him what we think of his ideas.

http://www.sermonaudio.com/source_comments.asp?sourceid=newhopeks

Should we show him a little DU love?

"Whatsoever you do to the least of my brethren..."

"Vengeance is mine sayeth the Lord" - meaning that he is playing God. A definite no no, according to the Bible.

"All have sinned and fall short..." All would include himself. "The wages of sin is death...." Guess he'll be standing in line for his punishment too.

Would he also kill divorcees, and liars, and ministers who commit adultery?

And just who does he think those eunuchs that were made that way by God are? Eunuchs are highly praised and valued in Scripture.

that loses more people than move there and a state wherein at least three counties will drop to less than 1,000 population by end of 2012. Who, would want to move to and work in Kansas, especially with a homophobic governor and legislature, which shows the sentiment of some people in Kansas toward any fairness. It's hard to think of anything anymore Kansas is not against than a theocratic dystopia.
