Are anything like my fundie relatives, it will make no difference. The Bible is the word of God and we have no idea who this Constantine fellow is and the council of Nicea and the council of Trent are a left wing conspiracy, just like 911

He thinks Richard Nixon and Ronny Raygun were the two most "decent" presidents we have ever had. And
Obama is an atheist and should go back to practicing voodo..

Yeah, it looks to be an interesting day...I'm looking forward to it.
Just a couple of adult beverages and the sparks start to fly.
I wear an Obama cap from 2008, so I guess you could say I'm a instigator. I wouldn't have it any other way.
He had a good paying union job a few years ago, he lost it.
So his rationale is "Unions suck". They don't stand up for the members, etc. etc.
If it rains, or doesn't rain, it's the god damn environmentalists.

He usually gets surly after 4 or 5 drinks and my sister takes him home.

Now, that's entertainment.

Another related bit of fun is to present the argument that taking the Lord's name in vain is about saying "God is with us" for endeavors that have nothing to do with God, and that therefore most of what the Christian Right does--because it is not Biblically based--is taking the Lord's name in vain.

It's not blasphemy to break a commandment.

Saying a name is not necessarily saying it in vain.

The rest is juxtaposition of history, language and silly colloquial expression for the purpose of what appears to be dumb slapstick humor.

Perhaps personalized peripheral tips are less helpful to intercourse when the actual reasoning is readily available in written format.

Your responses seem slowly to infer that your posts represent a lack of reasoning in favor of a faith in a predetermined decision on your part that someone else likes or, in this case, dislikes.

I really do not care much about either of our likes, dislikes and/or faiths at this point. I do have a certain faith in the power of reasoning over anyones ability to predetermine ends.
