AVALANCHE-JOURNAL
A San Antonio man said Tuesday hes dropping his lawsuit over the use of stuffed mules in an exhibit at the American Museum of Agriculture, contending the judges faith would deny him a fair trial.
Patrick Greene, an atheist who has a 30-year history of protesting faith-based situations involving governments in Texas and California, said in his motion to dismiss he had seen the references to Christianity in District Judge Ruben T. Reyes online biography.
According to the judges campaign website, Reyes and his family attend Church on the Rock and are very involved in our church.
The churchs website lists Reyes and his wife, Melanie, among its executive elders.
