What would a Mormon White House look like?

If Mitt Romney is elected president, the White House will likely see some new traditions.

What would a Mormon White House look like?
By Jessica Ravitz, CNN

Should Mitt Romney win the presidency next Tuesday, it will mark an historic first: a Mormon couple moving into the White House.

What would this mean and look like?

Would there be “dry” state dinners, since faithful Mormons don’t do alcohol? Would Secret Service tag along to sacred ceremonies only open to worthy church members? What book would a President Mitt Romney use to take his oath of office?

We can’t be absolutely sure about all the answers. But if the practices and homes of devout Mormons like the Romneys – not to mention his history as governor of Massachusetts – are any indication, we can begin to paint a picture of what a Romney-inhabited White House might look like.

Satan is Jesus's brother .....

I fail to see how LDS is any part of the Christian faith except they have mention of Jesus
and closed marriage ceremonies where parents can not attend unless the are Mormons
too many secrets ...... sounds like a cult to me

They have such a confusing, twisted hodgepodge theology with angel moroni making him a prophet in 1823. He recieved some holy golden plates that eventually became the book of mormon. The book of mormon is the "new revelation" bible. It is a very difficult task to evaluate the complex structure of the book of mormons. They accept the KJV of the bible as part of the word of god and on and on. It is exceedingly cultish and racist with the white races as being the only supreme pure races accepted by the god of mormonism. And that justification goes on and on also. Mittthetwit is a racist. Period. Read Kingdom of the cults, walter martin. Just information about cults. Mormonism is a racist cult. No if, ands or buts about it.

When Bush took up residence there, it was a bastion of religious freedom, right? Well, freedom to push Christianity. One must assume that a Mormon White House would be much the same.

Hence the strong argument for religion to be a non-factor in Secular government. If only believers, en masse, could get behind that idea...

The other questions aren't so crystal clear. Pretty sure there would be immediate institution nationwide of family home evening.
