Myth, love and understanding.

I grew up in an Irish family. Most Celts, regardless of religious affiliation, would recognize the place of story telling in our families. Stories are our forte. We told and re-told the tales. In the course of events some changed. Some became myth.

Yet it was understood. There would be a side glance, a grin or an eye roll along the way. But the bottom line was love. And we all knew it.

I think that cultural context plays into my take on the religious stuff. And for others, as well.
