(5,167 posts)I also occasionally go during the week, but lately I've such a night-owl, that I arise too late to comfortably get to noon Mass!(that is, after leisurely dressing and a late breakfast.)
Not only do I enjoy participating in the liturgy, I also enjoy the community aspect of attending Mass - seeing long-time acquaintances, etc.

(50,566 posts)They are always a salient reminder of why I despise religion. A recent one was a Catholic mass wherein the priest informed us wimminfolks that we are really just helpmate vessels.

We have a new priest and I'm enjoying getting to know her. Before she came I skipped a lot, especially during presidential election season.
