What Goes Around, Comes Around

By Rick DiClemente
Author of “The Exquisite Zodiac”

The planet Uranus aligned with Pluto on October 9, 1965 at 4:17pm Eastern time. They met up at the 17th degree of Virgo 09 minutes. That was 47 years ago. A new conjunction of two very powerful planets - promises were made.
Both Uranus and Pluto are quite explosive planets; Uranus wants to disrupt the old and replace it with the revolutionary new, while Pluto is all about death and rebirth. Put the two together, and you can see why the Sixties were so powerfully revolutionary. This pair traveled together basically from 1961 through 1969. Remember much revolution then?
In 1965, we got Medicare and Medicaid; 1964 The Civil Rights Act; and the Beatles revolution. Conservatives shook in their boots as they watched the young grow their hair and every step John Lennon took was chronicled and photographed by the FBI. Those dangerous sit-ins.

The Voting Rights Act of 1964 was established, too. By 1969, I knew it was over: my best friend got sent home for wearing bright red paisley bell-bottom jeans to school. The “establishment” was done for. Hendrix, Joplin, and Morrison died – so did the Beatles and the Woodstock generation.

They had done their jobs

That’s what Uranus does: it upsets and renews the establishment. Saturn stabilizes it, and then Pluto blows it all up again. A neat, tidy, necessary cyclical pattern of evolution.

Well, people born during that mini-generation are now in their 40’s. My office has been swamped by people born with the Uranus-Pluto conjunction in Virgo. Think of it: these two powerfully rebellious planets in the tame and obedient earth sign of Virgo. These people have been living on top of an inner volcano for all these years! Virgo is by no means revolutionary or explosive; it is a “company man.” So, for the past few years, as Uranus has made its way halfway around the zodiac, that group has been experiencing Uranus opposite Uranus (this happens to all of us around the age of 42), better known as “the midlife crisis.” Suddenly, all of these people who had been behaving themselves (Virgo) were asking, “What has it gotten me?”

Those with powerful Virgin energies are caring people, but they don’t like to rock anyone’s boat. Many found it to be time to liberate themselves (Uranus). Now, the story gets much more complex. This Uranian “mid-life crisis” makes Harley salespersons very happy. The desire to recapture one’s youth is paramount as Uranus asks, “Just how free am I?” Many people do not handle the opposition in a clear, healthy manner. It’s meant for liberation from inner restriction, but many project their problems outside of themselves. “If only she was better in the bedroom…”

Now, about that promise…

When Uranus and Pluto met in Virgo, the first time since 1850, they merged. They got married. Uranus promised to show tolerance and equality for all. Pluto’s oath was to show courage and get down to the real meaning of life. Since they were heavily colored by the SIGN OF VIRGO, the focus went towards Virgoan things: Unions, equal rights, racial equality, feeding the poor, healing the sick, etc.

Now, 47 years later, Uranus is square or at a right angle to Pluto. It’s report card time. This is what is called the “opening square.” The opening square is a trial period. For example, the Sun’s yearly orbit, 90 days later is its opening square (90-day probation.) For Saturn’s 28-year period, the 7th year represents its opening square (7 year itch), for Uranus’s 84 year period, it happens at age 21… get it?

So, now, in 2012, we are experiencing the opening square of transiting Uranus to transiting Pluto. As a matter of fact, due to retrogradation, this will happen 7 times; we just experienced the 2nd of 7 in September of 2012. By natural means, the PROMISE is being tested and evaluated. The opening square of any type asks the question, “How have we been doing with that promise?”

What does this all mean? Well, one cannot accurately analyze the opening square until one understands the marriage of Uranus and Pluto first. Simply stated, astrologically we have to combine Uranus (U), Pluto (P) and Virgo (V). And that means being tolerant of everyone’s way of life (U), being dedicated and strong enough to care about everyone’s passions and primal needs (P) and be sensible about it (V).

How else can we describe this couple’s vows? “I promise to care for the unfortunate (V, and Chiron), to respect everyone’s right (even sexual) (U), and to wipe out any old, obsolete rules, mores and standards (P).

So, there you have it

Many of us have flunked badly and are still flunking, erroneously thinking that we can possibly treat the “poor” differently than the “rich.” In reality, making “them” behave the way “I” want them to be doesn’t do anything for “me!” Our faulty thinking somehow is based upon the assumption that we are separate. The same old problem.

We simply cannot be One and Separate at the same time!

So, this is PRECISELY why we’re having such tug-of-war with Medicare right now. Many of us are succeeding at keeping and furthering the promise. You don’t mess with the outer planets. You cannot win. Well, we could vanish actually – the Polar Cap is. In the chart done for the exact time of the Uranus/Pluto conjunction in 1965, Neptune lays almost perfectly AT THE TOP OF THE CHART. Do you think that’s a coincidence? That means that however we utilize Uranus and Pluto into the future, we will HAVE to do so with love in our hearts including all as one big family. One does not disobey Neptune and survive (just ask Romney); it’s just not possible since it IS The Divine. Remember, this is the chart for the whole planet; not just Americentric!

So, now you know why we’re going through what we are. Resistance is commonplace just before we take our next leap in evolution. I can remember my buddies and I following police cars around in 1969; after all, they consistently followed us! Revolutions come and go and there are plenty of victims to go around. Change is quite often very good for us.

The opening square of Uranus and Pluto is not meant to represent finality; it is meant to express the necessary pain and friction required to get us back on track.

This is not weird. This is living in accord with Nature’s laws.

So, how do we get on board? By seeing all as having equal rights; by not pretending that this voter suppression is being done for any other reason than bigotry; by being color blind as far as all races; by realigning our country so that everyone can work and make a livable wage (V); by not prying into other’s bedrooms (P); by being willing to share (V); by having the courage to set a great example to the world (P); by becoming more self-sustaining (V,P); by furthering the work for our youth to be free them (U) from bullying (P) in all forms, and so on. It’s really not a stretch to see some large corporations as bullies, is it?

This classroom knows nothing about giving automatic passing grades. We could flunk out big time. Remember, Neptune and Chiron are very intelligent and have at the same time bestowed their grace upon us while they are traveling together in early Pisces. This is no accident. All of these energies are culminating just as the Mayan Calendar comes to the end of a major chapter. Another coincidence?

We are “getting it” in so many ways. Yet, we are being tempted and led astray by forces and entities with their own deluded agendas. Those are the energies/forms that must sacrifice themselves to Pluto. As Eckhart Tolle said in “A New Earth”, “Evolve or die.”

The very fact that we are all reading this and sharing similar perceptions is a very good sign. We must stop the forces that encourage us to hate and bolster the idea of “them.” There just aren’t any “thems” out there anywhere.

You can clearly see that the "battle" of unity and oneness and how it's up against separateness. And in truth, there is no separation, we are all one. Let's just hope the ones who still want to be "separate," see the light and see it soon. I wish there was a way this could be read by everyone who still doesn't "get it". Maybe it might open some minds, and more importantly, hearts. It's beautifully written. I'm so grateful for you!

it's always hard for me to keep my mouth shut when I see these patterns and few others do.
More and more, I'll bring them out, but they really, always point back to the simple Golden Rule

Look how crapily people treated the replacement refs in the NFL; they were not qualified
and needed to go but THE USA treated them as subhuman.

that is why we're having SO MUCH TROUBLE. Obama was the expression of Neptune coming into our lives
the difficulty people have with Obama not entirely racial, it's that westerners believe in bomb first, talk later.

He's trying to reverse that, as we should.
We have been an imperialist country and we will go down within 10 years unless that changes.

Yemen, Somalia, Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan, Pakistan...and now four or more US nuclear aircraft carriers in the Straight of Hormuz along with warships from 20+ other countries as big oil pushes for invasion/war (with China and Russia strongly on the side of Iran, and all of this about oil)... No. This systematic drone assault has the mideast in outrage. One could nearly say the illegal, targeted killings including civilians are a troll for a new world war. And this doesn't even include the internal power grab in November.

Rick, I've been meaning to ask you about that. There is Trouble in November, perhaps the 20th (time is difficult for me). DHS have already made noises about standing up at that time, Dick Cheney mumbles about another October Surprise, and Anonymous are aware and warning about it as well. What do the planets say? Because it's there, and it's big, and it's Ugly. Working on it but not sure if God's will or the will of the forces of destruction and must be stopped.

that we are in for lots of nuclear switcheroos the next 3 years. I have no idea how that will manifest.
Whether real ones, dirty bombs, etc. Will it just be trying to stop each other?
Pluto will oppose the USA's Sun in 2015, astrologically and BASICALLY it means your "open enemies will rise against you" (7th house)
Open means known, as opposed to Pluto coming out of the 12th house in which case it would be secret enemies.

The REASON they will do so is always because they perceive us as imperialistic and misusing our power.
This is why us NON IMPERIALIST must win against the IMPERIALISTS in this country while Uranus (freedom) squares
Pluto (Plutocrats) during the same time period thru 2013.

In other words, if WE truly reform, there will be little chance of nuclear challenge, and the opposite.
The reason is that our SUN is being attacked, that's our IDENTITY. If we keep identifying with being a military
bully, that's what we'll GET! We have created it in the bogus name of freedom and the world's police and keeper.
Hogwash.
I fear there will be real exchanges and that the US is teetering on the edge of being a solvent entity.

This is all our own doing. I told you the Tsquare to Pluto was tomorrow night. This is why it's becoming so conscious.
My biggest fear is their use of tiny, multiple dirty bombs. They will find a way through, and I certainly wish none of us had
the "big ones".

It must be remembered that we might all go thru a time where nothing is exchanged, except hatred, but, after all
that's always what precedes the bombs. It's not good.
Our group here is tiny, but powerful, we must gang up behind people like ONEGRASSROOT and PROMOTE her WISHADOO efforts, etc.

The frightening doomsday stuff is very very real and quite possible, because us humans just don't listen and learn.
Mostly because of the Reps.
But we have to cultivate our higher side to escape this future, this is why Neptoon and Chiron are so active. To counter those forces with the real POWER of God. "Power vs Force", remember?
Didn't mean to get so wordy, but actually I did.

I was hoping something would show up in the charts regarding mid-late November. Something bad is there.

A channel for the cetaceans posted yesterday something at which I've been hinting for years: a soul choice is approaching regarding the Shift. I was hoping the worst aggressors would simply bail to continue their mission on another 3rd vibrational dimensional world.

And I agree and have stated before, America has dug itself a deep karmic chasm which will most likely result in at minimum a reversal to forced humility and the recognition through lack that all we have are each other and that we =must= take care of each other. That this is the basis of existence.

Regarding nuclear exchange after the Shift, I haven't been paying attention. I do believe it possible that the Chinese set foot on the West Coast. Not making a specific prediction as I'm working against such possible events, so they are in flux, but America has indeed been bullying and trolling other countries for far too long. We ARE imperialistic and dominating. The opposite may be forced upon us through more than the food crisis. (Yes, store and grow food NOW. I've been hinting at this but now it's begun.)

Looks like the work will not be done after Dec. 21. Sigh....thanks.

Like attempting to socialize at a book club where people have defended racism, saying "She's not from Texas" like that is an excuse to hate Hispanics, condemned Spain as being "lazy socialists because they take naps", and often bring up their religion whether it is part of the discussion or not.

I've realized that the people here are not interested in discussing any deep ideas in books; their world is Christian and Republican, and they have no concept or interest in anything else. Ignorant and proud of it. Even though they may have some college, they are quite incurious. They want everyone to conform and agree with them.

And I've been afraid to say anything to them that does not agree with that world view. I've decided to give up as it is hopeless. I guess I'll have to be a hermit & do my solitary activities and not attempt conversation with anyone around here (except spouse).

It's best not to engage with these people as I have already had one screaming angry white guy Christian go off at me in Walgreen's. He butted into a conversation I was having with my husband about the effectiveness of glucosamine, which hubby equated with the effectiveness of prayer, in his experience. Angry White Guy walked away, very upset. No facts in his world. Said he would pray for me.

The next guy behind him said, loudly, to the lady at the pharmacy counter, "I am so mad I wanna throw things at my TeeVee". This was the Friday after the Democratic Convention finished. I guess this guy couldn't handle positive people telling America that we can solve our problems.

It is incredibly frustrating to have NO FRIENDS at all where I live.

i've casually accepted that i'll stand out like a sore thumb, especially whenever i will (and have) gone out beyond "my island of blue." but instead of being afloat in "their energy" i choose to "carry my island with me" and float/stand in "my energy."

and my energy sees them as people. misguided and occasionally poisonously hateful people, but still people. i just don't have to "get off my island" to "be one" with every venomous person, however. i can be one with people on my floating paradise and let those who want to join choose my happy island. together we can make more land and build condos -- without HOAs and CC&Rs even!

but it is scary to feel alone, exposed, and friendless. and your daily experience is not really my daily experience. so i cannot but offer anything except a measly coping mechanism for when i travel. eventually the brave face can last only so long; that's where gratitude for those who are in your life and love you has to raise you up from sinking, isn't it?

I don't need to fit in. I can be myself.

For most of my life, I was terrified of adults. Parents, teachers, bosses. I couldn't express my opinions, I couldn't say no, because something awful would happen. I'd get fired or they'd hate me. They called me stupid, slow, lazy, incompetent. I had no boundaries.

Now that I'm 57 and retired, I don't have to tolerate anyone to keep a job. It's taken me years to assert myself. Nobody has rational discussion anymore, at least not outside the courtroom. It's frustrating b/c I have a law degree and spent 20 years as a court reporter. I got burned out and hated humanity due to the arbitrary and unnecessary meanness shown to me by certain lawyers and judges.

The guy in the book club who I thought was my friend (b/c he likes classical music & opera, like I do) got mad b/c I said I didn't like people talking about what god wants, what makes god angry, etc. at the book club when it was not relevant.

Like the woman who said "I told my niece that God gets angry when you text OMG. Don't do that!" These folks actually believe this stuff.......

He is starting a Shakespeare & Martinis club w/a retired English professor. He told me he would not invite me as I would be "disruptive". The only play I liked was Julius Caesar. I had bad English teachers who made other plays boring. I don't hang out with people who drink lots of alcohol either, b/c it causes behavior I don't want to witness.

why on earth would you want to fit in with that level of paranoia (or, if God's name is just being used as a tool of control, malice)?

and for all the claims of hospitality, no one with any grace would tell you you're uninvited "because you'd be disruptive." they'd just not invite you and not tell you anything. that was a deliberate act to be hurtful, nothing more.

so yeah, you should be quite happy you don't fit in with these rather sinister malcontents. being yourself instead in such a poisonous environment makes you a better person to be around. i'd be wearing my outsider badge proudly; who wants to be a source of misery and shit flinging?

he told me I would be disruptive. At least I know what he thinks.

He's not nearly as religious as some of the people in the group. He thought I hated all xtians and I have a more nuanced view than that. I explained it to him. I said that if xtianity was relevant to the book we were reading, that was ok with me to discuss.

He said "Well, you'll be sorry to know that I go to the Methodist Church and sing in the choir because I like to sing."

I said, "Don't be sorry. I sang in many church choirs for years because I love music." Especially stuff in Latin, but you sing that in a concert hall, not usually churches.

I graduated from a Presbyterian college and respect them because I got an excellent liberal arts education there. Had an amazing religion professor.

I don't want to be around alcohol & serious drinkers.

He took offense when I quoted Nietzsche: "If you value your thoughts, why do you speak them aloud?"

Why should I express my opinions when they will be dissed and ridiculed?

He's a graduate of Rice University w/a BA in German Literature, 1965. He has undoubtedly read Nietzsche in the original and contested my interpretation of that simple statement. I will not argue b/c I don't know much about Nietzsche. And it probably loses a lot in translation.

Wed. he sent me an email telling me to watch the debate & why we should listen to people whose opinions annoy us. My reply was short: "I have class tonight".

I take welding on Monday & Wednesday night.

I'm releasing the idea that I need friends where I live.

30. MOL, I've not had a friend in the "real" world since I moved to Maine in MOL

I've stopped trying. I don't discuss anything beyond the weather and what needs to be discussed. I live in the red armpit of the midcoast area. I thought at the hospital I'd find likeminded people. Wrong. The lab techs are all Ron Paulites and the lab assistants are teabaggers!

Certain neighbors have tried to injure my animals, trashed my property, etc., so there is no friendship there.

Even my sister turned into a teapartier and is impossible to even converse with at a superficial level because she will call unexpectedly and launch verbal attacks, always at bad moments (like the weekend before I started a week of nonstop final exams)....just like my mother dearest used to.

So I certainly can empathize with your situation. My response, after several years of trying and failing, has been to accept the situation for what it is and stop worrying about it. I have had other times in my life when I felt very isolated and alone.

At least this time I have my dogs, my birds, my horse, my cat, my garden, my privacy and DU!

Acceptance is the last step in the grief process, and the final step before you open to the new. So all I can suggest is you may be moving through grief over loss of your old expectations around social life. So try to move through the grief process toward acceptance. Simple acceptance. It is what it is.

27. Okay, on Thursday morning,

Sep 2012

The dark clouds of limitations seemed to leave me when I literally felt electric vibrations from several closely fluttering hummingbirds, closer and longer than I've ever seen. Well, it just blew me away in awe. My heart seemed to synchronize with their genius wings. I saw it as a good, no great, omen. About six mths. earlier I had found a hummingbird nest, I was told was good luck.

Later I saw a coupla characters at a garage sale, and one of the browsers, an old coot, seemed to be having a lot of fun chatting it up with everyone. Vibes were good there and then the old man became really jolly, and I'll be danged if he didn't seem to have my same exact laughing style.Weird!

Of course being a synchronicity surfer, I smiled a giant nod at the universe, and took the cue.

Later in the car, hours later, a mini laughter yoga session, brought a joyful ease I hadn't experienced in awhile. Then more quantum-ness came when my daughter exclaimed how she couldn't stop laughing all afternoon.

Of course, I thought maybe something broke through for her, that she'd accepted stuff, but today I find its the same tug-o-war. Teenaged drama Scorpio daughter breaking my heart in two.

I'm synchronicity surfing today like you were Thursday. (LOVE that combo of words). It's been one thing after the other since I woke up and I am in complete AWE over it. It's SO cool when this happens. May the waves of synchronicity find you again very soon

When I feel down and blue I thank God that I get it, you know, the gifts that come along, that seem blind to everyone else not so enlightened. How grand to have a garden of weeds, and then find the rarest of flowerings among them.

I wish there was a smilie for breathing in a sweet, sweet bloom.

42. Well, I see it as little to do with Hippies (Neptune)

but when you view from the archetypal level first (astrology) you "see" the manifestation before it "happens".
IF we had suppressed Neptune during the election (seperateness), then we really would have seen (As Fox (no pun intended) calls it) Fascism continue to rise (Mitt).
