Astrologically, the US has now moved into the period from August 2013 through early November 2015, when the US Sun (13Cancer19) is being highly stimulated by a powerful series of transits. These cascading configurations will, at times, expand the American footprint in the world, as well as its will to impact events (Jupiter); at times bring sudden situations that jolt the US into awareness and action (Uranus); and, to some degree, transform the US role, goals and self-definition in the world, often as a result of long and dangerous power struggles (Pluto).
