2 outta last 5 weeks the Homily at our church gradually,,,,,

Spoke about the health care controversy. I must be a bad Catholic, but I am getting tired of it. The first time, the priest read the letter from the bishops, and urged the congregation to contact their legislatures to over turn this travesty.
Today was a family mass, telling the kids that spring training is going on, professional are practicing the fundamentals, becuase without them, they cannot do thei jobs properly. Just as in life, and the commandments. And now the government is trying to make you change your beliefs,,,,,
I uttered a,"oh man,,," under my breath, but my youngest heard me say something and asked me what I said. I told her to pay attention to the homily.
I AM getting tired of it. I WANT the homily to make me think, to feel good to start the next week. AND I get to hear THIS!
I'm about to tell the priest my displeasure of the Homily choices,,,,,then I wil be in the dog house, since the sife can turn the other cheek. I guess, my fuse is shorter then hers.
