DO THEY SAY GLORY?

Repiglicans believe in not helping the poor, stagnant wages, nonunion work places, abolishing the 40 hour work week and overtime laws, tax cuts for the rich while taxing the poor, letting the children of the world go without food, shoes or a roof over their heads, controlling you inside your home, controlling you outside of your home, forcing their religion (man made doctrine) down your throat, unending wars for profit, poisonous air, poisonous water, poisoned food, toxic workplaces, toxic automobiles, privatized everything, abolishing the Department of Education, racism, discrimination, ending unemployment and welfare, getting rid of the useless disabled signs clogging parking lots, carrying a gun everywhere they go, shooting people first, then ask questions (stand your ground) and burning IN hell for not joining them for a church service where THEIR GOD IS AN ANGRY GOD OF HELL AND FIRE!!

Repiglicans, I hope...turn back to being Republicans, where compromise was not a dirty word and helping the least among us is not a sin.

Can they see God as loving, warm, compassionate? Can they see the poetry, the artistry and the literal genius? An angry God would send His Son because we mortals just can't get it right and if we get it correct, it is only temporary? The more studying and wrestling I do to understand, what I call my 360 Degrees walk, squat and ponder-the less I see a cruel, mean Creator.

Since I first read this thread-it won't let go of me.

You'ld think since the liberal Christian and the Conservative use the same training manual, there would be a level place. Its this domination thing that seems to breed the mean-hearted aspects that they hold so important. IF I were to reach a place where I am without sin, perhaps they feel they have.

An evangelical and i were talking today-her dad was a fire and brimstone preacher, and he was that kind of father as well. She admits she ran away from this ugly God. Her dad was hard, cold, strict, and everything was a sin that didn't fit his agenda. She was in her late 30's when she had a change of her view. STILL, if she hears on DayStar that Obama is a Muslim, that he is going to lead US to hell- I get lectures from her for my political views.
Is it imprinting?

The only way I can work alongside the conservatives is if I keep silent, they need to do all the oratories, they need to dominate, and they need to dictate. YET they are just puppets to the GOP. Its good they cannot read minds!

My close friend of nearly 50 years says simply: God put His mark on us a long time ago.
But what about St. Paul.?

Don't you get tired of praying for your enemies? Some of their actions are so irritating and so incredibly un-Christian. Who are they serving, the Coin that in Christ's time belonged to Cesar? They are Today's "leader at the Temple". Don't they see that, isn't there some
moment of hesitation? Then of course there's the poetry of Saul of Taursus being made blind that actually made him see. Must mean there is always hope. Faith is truly believing in what is unseen.
