As I read it; Mr. Black was using a bit of hyperbole to call attention to Ex-Pres. Clinton's tasteless joke about the supporters of Bernie Sanders. But, it was a warning as well.
To this day there are believers in blood libel, it takes a very small spark to ignite a primed fire.

I'm working on my third, Hebrew.
I learned English as member of an English speaking culture. I learned Japanese willingly to support a video habit.
At 56 it may never be of any practical use, but I found I like to learn languages.
That is a good enough reason to do it.

Is jefferson23 mentioning he's jewish. He used to be a regular in IP and I don't ever recall him saying that he was Jewish, but I didn't read every post of his, though I have probably read hundreds but maybe he never mentioned his religion. I wonder if he considers himself a zionist?

The use of "blood libel" in the context of the OP you linked to is a misuse of the phrase, it has a pretty specific meaning. The way it's being used here trivializes and discounts the historical meaning of the phrase, namely that Jews ritualistically murder Christian children for their blood.

Using the phrase in other contexts (the blood libel accusation is still made today in some parts of the world) shows a profound disrespect towards Jews and the Jewish community who have suffered greatly from this extreme form of antisemitism.
