If they were yanking Jews out of work and shooting them, yes. If they were tweeting mean words, no way.

I haven't really but was researching a little when I was considering buying another one.

Revolvers might not be as popular as semi-autos but they always work, no matter how long its been sitting, thats not always the case with semiautos. The ruger sp101 is a nice little gun you can get in 357 caliber.

We, of course, have the added status of "gay" and live in small town Oklahoma, so... Lots of people are armed here anyway, so us getting a gun wouldn't be that big of a deal.

The percentage of people getting guns for protection and successfully using them to defend themselves is minuscule. At best they don't help at all and at worst they end up maiming or killing a loved one.

I'm also a veteran and former police officer, however.

I even had the rare NYC carry permit, obtained by being friends with a local Congressman and due to occasionally helping my brother with his diamond business (insert your Hasid joke here, I can take it). A S&W 7 shot .357.

It's coming, I tell you. The neo-Nazi loon who started the whole Charlotte mess was (allegedly) a former Occupy Wallstreet guy. The loons on the Left and Right are going to get together. It's only a matter of time.
