Stunning!

There’s a major Jewish Film Festival in the Greater Phoenix area. Sometimes a a particularly popular show is sold out in advance, but most usually, you can buy a ticket at showtime, especially in the theater furthest from the heart of town.

This year, 8 days before opening day, every showing of every film in every theater is sold out. Response to a recent spate of anti-semitism? Especially Pittsburgh? Group solidarity?

I’m very disappointed in having been unable, due to the illness and then death, of my husband to have bought tickets in advance. This is usually one of the highlights of my year.
