My mother went through carotid artery surgery on both sides. If she needs surgery don't get too worried because it is very common surgery.

We haven't got the results of the two sonograms yet, maybe today. With the holidays I'm sure there are some delays. Also it might be a good sign that they didn't tell us really bad news. I will let all here know as soon as we know. She has an appointment with her GP on the 7th.

I hope her doc sets up the upper and lower GI test to see if she is bleeding. Also we will get the results of the sonograms. Thanks Justin for your concern and prayers.

And she is feeling better every day, has more strength and endurance. Before and for a while after the transfusions she was confused a lot and short of breath. That is much better now.
