Space shuttle Atlantis

Space shuttle Atlantis makes its way from the Vehicle Assembly Building to the Visitor Complex at the Kennedy Space Center, early Friday, Nov. 2, in Cape Canaveral, Fla. Atlantis began its slow journey to retirement Friday, riding atop 76-wheeled platform on the 10-mile trek to the Kennedy Space Center's main tourist stop.
