(6,143 posts)NASA or some other entity? I wish they'd let the simulation run a little longer, i'd love to see how the gases get sucked back in and (probably) form a rotating disk.
The tumlbr comments, though... don't know whether to laugh or cry..

(16,846 posts)I wish we could see space tourism for common people in my lifetime, but I don't think that's going to happen in the next 30-40 years. I suppose it could happen if we began to studiously work on it now, but we have too many other priorities at this time.

(4,407 posts)an object with enough mass to generate enough gravity to sustain a fusion reaction. There's a saying that black holes are where God divided by zero. This is a great illustration.

(45,358 posts)The theory is that the additive gravity warps and twists space-time so much that they begin act like electrons orbiting protons. Viewed from a distance the smaller black hole will appear to jump energy levels just like electrons do!
