Michio Kaku explains the significance of the Higgs Boson (Original Post) Jack Rabbit Sep 2014 OP

You are so right. Quantum theory is a joke, but, thankfully a few classical physicists are starting to right the ship. InAbLuEsTaTe Sep 2014 #2

When your failed theoretic explanations fail, you need to imagine new theories to explain the failure of the original theory.

They will never understand it and, maybe, they never should.

Ten billion dollars. That part makes sense.

Certainly not even Michio Kuku, er Kaku.

The standard model is simple, but it isn't that simple. One has to have a lot of physics and mathematics under ones belt to even grasp what it's about.

On edit: and Kaku is not a very good communicator about such concepts. Plus, he spouts quite a lot of woo-woo.
