Then he starts gnawing on the face while the victim struggles against the killer's powerful arms. The lips, the cheeks, the lower jaw... And for dessert: The eyes.

My fave thing about mantises is their head is on a "neck" and they can turn their head to look at you and stuff. "Hey there!"
Other insects don't do that much.
