Medicine and Where It Is Heading is So Amazing - BLOCKAGE GRINDER

It's concept, but what is great is you can already see it is possible, given the nature of today's technology advancements. Hopefully we'll be able to offer these kinds of future technologies to every American, and can make being a citizen of this country an honor and a living testament to freedom and fairness

It was likely different hardware supported by a different vendor, but the procedure was the same, essentially a roto-rooter via coronary catheter.

In my case, the complication was a small injury to the artery wall (coronary dissection) that prolonged my stay on the cardiac unit by several days. It required a 2nd catheterization to verify that the vessel healed. During one of my two catheterizations, they did a standard balloon procedure which the fancy atherectomy catheter (that's the roto-rooter) was supposed to replace.
