(2,457 posts)4. I tend to recall when I was watching the landing online
there was concern about how much fuel the sky crane would use as it slowed the decent and hovered over the rover. Apparently, they were able to get a measurement of how much rocket fuel was left if any. Turned out they had about 1 1/2 kilograms to spare.
I wouldn't mind seeing the sky crane either. It would be interesting to see its condition.
