Today's Curiosity rover update from JPLnews

First, a report from Mars Science Laboratory team member Jessica Samuels:



The rover is alive and well on the surface of Mars. It's is still transmitting images from the descent cameras. The remote sensing mast has been deployed and is sending back the first, low-res panoramic images of Gale Crater:

I love how they call the rover "she" and "her". She'll do her creators and handlers proud, for sure.
