one, can only be understood long after they are uttered. It is almost as if people go back through their dumb ass ancient books of faerie tales and reinterpret shit in the obscure mumbo jumbo there in to make it fit modern sensibilities. But that would be intellectually dishonest, so they couldn't be doing that. Except this bag of nails. He totally did that.

I have been wanting to read it for some time. I didn't pay attention and bought the own that had a foreward by Comfort in it. What a load of dribble. I am contemplating cutting those pages out and using the for my charcoal chimney.

to Origin of Species???? I can't imagine what he has to say. Don't use them in the charcoal chimney, keep them for entertainment purposes.

I would burn it. I would not want anyone else to get their hands on it. He wrote a 50 page preface, left out the foreword written by Darwin, and omitted four chapters. From the looks of it, the ones that I remember the clearest were the Galapagos finches, and those chapters were left out "at random". Get yourself a copy with these chapters in it.

I havent read any of it since I skimmed the foreward and googled Comfort, no telling what they did we don't know about. Luckily I got it at Half Price Books so none of my money went to him.

There can't possibly be gravity in space.

OOPS! I'm such a dunce.... I forgot all about "gravitational pull of the sun, or Jupiter, or ....." Oh yeah, that is why there are planets....

But I am not sure that this is the worst of his comments. He assumes that the version of the Bible he is reading is the exact same wording as the story first written down (not to mention the oral versions before someone decided to write it down). As if there is no way that the interpreters wouldn't "interpret" it based on their knowledge.
