One minor quibble: Mark 16:17-18 is very much "In." (True believer can drink poison etc.) It's the basis for all those snake-handling Fundie sects.

A building full of deluded, irrational people all determined not to listen, engage with you or discuss anything, demanding respect for their nonsense.

You don't have to go far to get that around here, if you really want it.

That made me think of "Candide" (Best of all possible worlds!) ....which made me think of the musical "Candide".... which made me think of this brilliant passage from the Auto da fe scene...by the great poet Richard Wilbur. (notice the clever rhymes....and the "interior" rhymes "dear souvenir", "He received he believed", "A Milano soprano&quot ....amazing)

I am always amused by the number of rules in the Bible that are totally ignored, even by fundies. That is a great list, although I will say that no one is abiding by all of the Ten Commandments anymore. I see a lot of coveting by everyone, including religious people. And how many believers will bear false witness. Let's not forget that adultery one either. How about the no other gods and graven images---look at the RCC and all the saints and praying to Mary and all the statues. Even evangelicals will have a necklace with a cross on it. All no-nos. So let's just say IN/OUT for the Ten Commandments as well.
