Some Children Just Can't Stop Themselves From Tempting Innocent Pedophiles, Explains Priest on Live

http://gawker.com/some-children-just-cant-stop-themselves-from-tempting-i-1735222335?utm_campaign=socialflow_gawker_facebook&utm_source=gawker_facebook&utm_medium=socialflow

This week, a brave Catholic priest came out against the villainous young children who tempt pedophiles, telling a TV reporter the true victims are the priests, who sometimes “give up” under the relentless barrage of underage temptation.

The comments were broadcast on Italian TV, and like many visionaries—and nutcases—before him, his thoughts were not well-received. Via UPI:

The Rev. Gino Flaim said he “understands pedophilia” as an attempt by children to find affection.

He told Italy’s La7 television channel, “I’ve been to lots of schools, and I know children. Unfortunately there are children who seek affection because they don’t receive it at home and I understand that some priests can give up. Pedophilia is a sin, and like all sins has to be accepted.”
The priest was—understandably—less forgiving when asked about homosexuality, explaining that, unlike the rape of a child, consensual sex between two men is a “disease.”

Ah, the RCC and their "deeply held beliefs"...

Catholic priest sacked for remarks on pedophilia

AP October 7, 2015, 7:35 AM

ROME -- The Catholic Church in northern Italy's Trento region has sanctioned a priest who said pedophilia in the church was caused by children seeking the affection of priests.

The Trento archdioceses said in a statement it had removed the Rev. Gino Flaim from all pastoral work and forbidden him from preaching after an interview was aired on the La7 private network Tuesday evening.

In the comments, Flaim said he had worked in schools and understood children. "Unfortunately, there are children who seek out affection because they don't get any at home. And it can be that maybe they find some priests. And I understand this," he said.

On the other hand, he said he couldn't understand the "sickness" of homosexuality.

The archdiocese said it "fully disassociated itself" from Flaim's words.

"Sacked," to me, means you're fired. Your employment is terminated. You need a new job.

Somehow when the RCC "sacks" someone, they continue to be employed and protected by the Vatican. They're just put in a job that keeps them out of the media spotlight. Yet we are supposed to hail this as fixing their pedophilia problem.

Bernard Law, anyone?

.... now you know why they dropped out of regular society. They can't handle reality at all. This is the kind of people the priesthood attracts. Egomaniacal nuts.
