Strawman-attack:
Attack a fictional, flawed version of the scientific method as being flawed.
Bring up the Bible as a much more reliable source.

Use buzzwords:
Group-think: Instead of "scientists", e.g. use "evolutionists" (as opposed to "creationists&quot even when those scientists are talking about the Moon.
Science is just big words to confuse people, right? So, all you have to do to write a scientific text is to throw around big, impressive words.
Use equations once in a while, to show that math exists. But DO NOT show too many or too complicated equations or the readers will start wondering about underlying principles and will start asking questions.
True wisdom is in the memorization of lists, words and texts. Equations are runic symbols you have to memorize and calculations are just a stupid chore.

Even more Strawmen:
Describe scientific theories that are in retrospect wrong and ridiculous.
DO NOT mention scientifc theories which sound as if they make sense or which turned out to be correct.
"It's a mystery. Nobody knows."

Go in for the kill:
Confuse the reader by barraging him with useless, uncorrelated snippets of information.
After confusing the reader and withholding critical information from him, remove his confusion by presenting him "The Truth&quot TM).

I think it's interesting how much of this also fits to cults and conspiracy-theories: Group-think ("sheeple&quot , ad hominem-attacks, cherry-pick information, ignore information, and when you inevitably reach confusion, then insert the explanation you want to be true.

It's also interesting that this partly resembles the propaganda-technique an old ex-soviet journalist complained in an interview about when talking about Russia Today:

Create confusion by rapidly barraging the reader with meaningless facts while withholding critical facts. Once the reader is confused, put your spin on the situation.
