Stories like that always make me wonder----how much worse could it have been then? But maybe god just got bored with us on earth and stopped paying any attention eons ago. That must be it---like a broken toy from childhood. That explains so much, like why we don't have all those miracles and god coming down to visit anymore, and all the unanswered prayers.
