That isn't the god that we are know. I wonder what kind of god this person worships. If I remember correctly, god loves all of us, no matter what----ah well, he is getting older, and you know how cantankerous we can get as we get older. He must be getting bitchy. I suppose I would get bitchy too, if I had to deal with all these so-called Christians using me for their own nefarious reasons.

There was a PR campaign by a local megachurch here in Memphis not too long ago for which the theme was "Bellevue Loves Memphis." I joked with a friend that since that church in particular and the SBC in general is anti-science, anti-LGBT, and anti-woman, they should've had a fine-print disclaimer at the bottom that read "WARNING: does not apply to gays, lesbians, women, and people who passed eighth-grade science."
