Recovering From Religion: amazing resource: all free: non-profit and non-prophet

https://www.recoveringfromreligion.org/

https://www.facebook.com/RecoveringfromReligion/

This international non-profit has online support groups, a free phone center, and text chatting. Plus incredible resources to read and watch, all curated by professional licensed therapists. It's one-stop-shopping if you're doubting your beliefs and want help finding the door out of religion.

The best thing is, it's all volunteer and no one is allowed to tell anyone what to think or believe. They're there to listen. No one is ever asked for a donation, or their private information. This is that truly rare no-strings-attached resource.

But it's not exactly therapeutic! It's very hard core, which is great. But RfR is at the beginner end of that spectrum, and is entirely designed to accommodate all doubters wherever they are on the path out of indoctrination. So, the two groups are certainly not in competition with each other; They're entirely complimentary.

Since the upheaval a year ago I feel AE is still trying to find their way a bit.
I sure miss Tracy Harris and Jen Peeples.

Tracy's science background was powerful and eliminated the "opinion" variable that most callers are obsessed with.
