(102,278 posts)I know few who would not admit their uncertainty. But, then, I don't cross paths with and in fact, actively avoid RW fundamentalists or evangelicals.
Most that I personally know would say that they hold certain beliefs and feel that the words (philosophy) attributed to Jesus in the New Testament were those with which they could readily agree and seek to emulate, but readily admit that they might more accurately be labeled as agnostic.
These are the kind of "Christians" that would laugh heartily at and readily agree with Gandhi's comment on Christiantiy: "I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ".
