One very, very important question about the moon-landing hoax...

We hear it every few years. "It must be a hoax because of this, it must be a hoax because of that..."

If it's that easy to fake astronauts walking around on the Moon, why has nobody faked it in order to prove how easy it is to fake it?

My challenge is simple:
If you want to convince others that the Moon-landing was fake, fake a Moon-landing.

- Fake the lander touching down and creating a crater in the Moon-dust that looks just like crater on video.
- Fake an astronaut jumping around in low gravity.
- Fake moon-dust slowly falling down while the astronauts move at normal speed.
- Bounce a radio-signal from the surface of the Moon back to Earth to fool the Soviets.

Do all this using 1970s technology.

the evidence showing the stuff still up there on the moon. I especially like that you can see the paths of the astronauts walking to each of the sites as well as the crater on the right.

you're never going to convince them that actually going to the moon with 1960s technology was easier than doing some studio magic with the same technology.

"damn, this making a man in a puffy white suit jump up and down at half speed is really hard"
"i know, let's go on location for the shoot"
"ok, but what location"
"the moon, of course"
"sure, let's go!"

and frankly, you're not going to convince me of anything with that argument either, and i believe very strongly that we actually went to the moon.

*if we wanted to fake it*, of course we could have faked it with that technology, or at least, we could have advanced that technology enough to have faked it.

keeping it a secret all these years is another thing entirely....

These are people who listen to and believe Alex Jones. There is no reasoning with them. My conspiracy believer ex-friend has an undergraduate in physics from Cornell, a J.D., and a Master's in biology and she not only believes the moon landing was faked but so was Columbine, and all of the other mass shootings. They are mentally ill. You cannot use reason. I've tried and tried.

This is the part of the thinking of the "flat Earth theory" people. I was unaware of this until last week when I met one and then went home and googled it. They really believe this shit and what I read on line was almost word for word what this person had been telling me earlier. Check it out...odd and ridiculous.

being real, not a hoax.

First off is that it was covered almost continuously for however many hours it took for the astronauts to get there and get back. To believe that several hundred hours of radio and TV transmission was faked and no one ever spilled the beans . . . well, I find that hard to imagine.

Second is the fact that we went back. Several times.

Third is this:
