While I had seen the Japanese film clips before, this is the first time that I have seen this particular video. I traveled down that coast many years ago, from Miyako southward, and stayed at a "minshuku" bed-and-breakfast type place that was just 100 yards or so from the coast at Kessennuma and which was, in all likelihood, destroyed by the tsunami.
