For insisting Reactors #1,2, 3 & 4 at Fukushima be built near sea-level, over the objections
of Japanese engineers at the time. On 3-11, this made the multiple-meltdowns possible, after the
reactor buildings were hit full-force by the 60-foot tsunami.

The GE Corp needs to take a very special bow.

As they say, corporations are people, and people can bow.

After all, it's the least GE can do.

I know the power company conglomerates own a lot of media there (sounds familiar to here).

Maybe that was suppressed in the media in Japan?

I guess I'm curious about how folks feel there about controversial issues like Fukushima, US role in it, etc

Thought there might be a slight possibility you might be in touch with some citizens there.
I don't know anybody who is, at that level.

I'll have to find some website where citizens of Japan and various other countries come together
to discuss stuff like that (in addition to the expected topics like Manga, Anime, pop music, etc), if it exists.

I have hope such a site is out there, and I also believe in magic...
