(111,352 posts)I love the rest of them, also.
If I had to spend the rest of my life eating one continent's cuisine, it would be Asia. It's the veggies. Love the veggies.

(41,861 posts)And my favorite right now is STEAMED CLAMS in black bean sauce. I love Japanese and my heritage is Japanese, but for a larger menu choice, its always Chinese.

(9,353 posts)But, I make special trips for pho when the craving hits.
Do the occasional Thai and Malaysian.
And, when I am home and don't want to go out I make spaghetti cacio e pepe. Major comfort food.

(3,433 posts)I fell in love with it when I was working in Boston. On a cold winter day there is nothing better (IMO) than a big bowl of pho.

(41,861 posts)I love their cold glass noodles with hot chicken, and the Viet Sandwiches are wonderful too!

(3,433 posts)The food is so fantastic. I always go back to Pho Tai through. The dish is seemingly so simple yet the flavor is the exact opposite. I have tried to make it myself many times but I just don't get it right.
Pho Tai with side of gui cuon is heaven right there

(9,353 posts)That's the one I always order.
Look at the other choices and then go for the pâté.
Washed down with a Vietnamese iced coffee.

(2,212 posts)I love many, many Asian dishes, but those Thai curries are to die for.

(45,534 posts)Lovely salads, broken rice dishes, banh mi sandwiches, and pho, and probably lots of other stuff I haven't tried yet.
Thai dishes are nice and spicy: drunken noodles, eggplant, fried fish, prik king green beans, and lots more. Yum!
I have good Thai options in my neighborhood in DC but have to go out to the burbs for good Vietnamese.
