The Dance of Sword by Ha Ji Won 하지원 "Hwangjini"

The Dance of Sword by Ha Ji Won 하지원

This is one of the dance scenes from the drama about the famous 16th Century gisaeng Hwang Jin Yi. The drama 2006 was followed by the 2007 movie based upon a the novel. The Kdrama is available on viki.com. 24 episodes. So is the movie. The movie appears to have been uploaded to some free sites elsewhere on the internet. Don't know how secure they are or their copyright status. I've been using viki for a few years. Access without being a subscriber is problematic, commercials and some features are blocked.

Hwang Jini or Hwang Jin-Yi (Korean: 황진이; c. 1506 – c. 1560), also known by her gisaeng name Myeongwol ("bright moon", 명월 ), was one of the most famous gisaeng of the Joseon Dynasty. She lived during the reign of King Jungjong. She was noted for her exceptional beauty, charming quick wit, extraordinary intellect, and her assertive and independent nature.[1][2][3] She has become an almost myth-like figure in modern Korea, inspiring novels, operas, films, and television series.
