“Iowa may well become Sen. Bernie Sanders’ ‘Field of Dreams’ ”

WASHINGTON — Hillary Clinton’s once-huge lead over Bernie Sanders is eroding nationally and has vanished entirely in two early voting states, according to new polls Tuesday.

A New York Times/CBS poll showed the former secretary of state ahead of the Vermont senator by 48 percent to 41 percent nationally. In the same poll a month earlier, she was running away with the Democratic presidential primary with 52 percent to Sanders’ 32 percent.

The numbers in Iowa and New Hampshire were even more distressing for the supposed Democratic presidential front-runner.

A Quinnipiac University poll had Sanders leading by five percentage points in Iowa, 49 percent to 44 percent. That was a dramatic turnaround from December, when Clinton was clobbering her pesky rival 54?percent to 40 percent.

Should we expect the bandwagon effect to kick in now? If so will it be a trickle or a gusher? n/t A Simple Game Jan 2016 #1

Now that Bernie is being seen as a viable candidate, some people who just said "Hillary", because they felt they had nothing else to say, are reconsidering.

and an even worse one this time. I can't think of anything to recommend her except that being a woman. There are better women. I can wait.

That she is criticizing Sanders for supporting a single-payer healthcare system. Why would any Liberal vote for her if she thinks that's a bad idea?

Democrats polled overwhelmingly in favor of a Medicare for All system. Hillary's remarks on Bernie's proposal have created this backlash.

... because right about now the big media shills are finally realizing the people's choice of battles (socialist vs. fascist) will easily get better ratings than the battle of America's royal families in Clinton vs. Bush that they've had on the schedule for years.

Now they know they have a 'show,' they'll capitalize on the ratings while trying to figure how to protect themselves from the regulatory hammer likely to come down early next year.

And now that Bernie has 'big media's' ears, I expect to hear talk of whatever ideas he may have along those lines. It's time to hold these folks accountable for their dispicable behavior...
