These all came from presidential candidates. Bonus points if you can identify each of them correctly.
Hint: Statements came from Bush, Carson, Clinton, Cruz, Paul, Rubio, Trump
"Now I have to see what the deal is for the four people, because someone said they were getting seven back. So essentially, they get 150 billion plus seven, and we get four. Doesn't sound too good. Doesn't sound too good,"
"We don't know the details of the deal that is bringing them home, and it may well be there are some very problematic aspects to this deal,"
adding that Iran takes "people hostage in order to take concessions"
"For years, we have advocated for the release of Saeed Abedini. I've sent repeated letters to the administration encouraging them to advocate for his release hoping we'd pressure Iran for his release," he said. "We're excited he's coming home. I think he's an incredibly brave man to advocate for Christianity and to risk his life in the process."
"I would say ... if you do not release them, that there's going to be military action, that that's an act of provocation, an act of war. What I would do in January is recognize that Iran is not an ally.
"the fact remains that President Obama's nuclear agreement with Iran is fatally flawed and gravely jeopardizes the national security interests of the American people, our ally Israel and other peaceful nations in the Middle East and around the world."
Iran is still violating UN Security Council resolutions with its ballistic missile program, which should be met with new sanctions designations and firm resolve

(253 posts)"On 11 individuals and entities involved in the ballstic test program" that's different then what Clinton is asking for.

(15,369 posts)that shows that HRC was asking for anything different from what has been imposed?
Please be specific.

(15,369 posts)but there is a wide latitude of interpretation there. Unfortunately, too many DU posters choose to interpret "Iran" as the whole country so that they can trash her as usual.
The news story also chooses to interpret this as "the nation." But she was using "Iran" as shorthand.
I certainly cannot change your bias. You will interpret as you please. But for anyone who has been following the whole story, it was clear.

(253 posts)but when someone says "Iran" I would assume they are talking about the country. We both have biases here, obviously, but I think we can at least agree when someone says Iran or United States they are talking about the government aspect of that country. If she was saying something else she should have been clearer, but this is not the first time she has been talking about being tough on Iran.

B. Cruz
C. Rubio
D. Paul
E. Bush
F. Carson
G. Hillary
But B, C, D, F could plausibly be Hillary. A is obviously Trump and E is Bush acting like a lunatic.
