Hillary's Obamacare "bearhug"...

Yes the Affordable Care act was an improvement. However Hillary's over-embrace is not necessarily wise outside of DU and a Dem party audience. There is a huge hole for those caught between Medicaid expansion and those with employer provided insurance. The marketplace is expensive with high out-of- pockets for too many. Even those with insurance face higher out of pockets, higher deductibles, higher copays if they are lucky, if not higher coinsurances of 10 to 50%. And whether fair or not, many people will blame those higher costs on "Obamacare." So Hillary's embrace of Obamacare and her openness to "making it better", but denying the need for a major rehab..may not be a good thing.

OK, so we mock the GOP repeated attempts to repeal the ACA. But in consideration for those afflicted with the misery of those increased out-of pockets, or still uninsured..we shouldn't mock too much. The ACA is too flawed for the of the less than critical embrace Hillary gave it.

Between the ACA and Dodd-Frank, I'm not quite sure which "putting lipstick on a pig" I was more irritated with...Both were steps forward, but not far enough to deserve the presentation Hillary gave...
